ACPI/HPQ0004 PCI Unknown Device Driver [solved] Thursday, 2011.10.13 J.D. 69 comments Q. Hello, I have a HP laptop showing ACPI/HPQ0004 unknown device and I need to find the right drivers. ACPI HPQ0004 3&61AAA01&0 Free Driver Download. World's most popular driver download site.

Hi everybody, I try to find a solution to install the right driver for those devices on a Windows 7 x64 build 7100: 1. ACPI HPQ0004 3&33FD14CA&0 2. Imgburn Manuale Italiano Canon.

ACPI HPQ0006 2&DABA3FF&1 For the moment, both are recognized as Unknow devices in the Device Manager. I already try to install all kind of drivers without any success. Thank you in advance for your support. Best regards, Geoffroy Hi You have the hardware ID for those devices, the next step is to contact HP support and they will be able to tell you which devices match those ID numbers. Here is a link for your convenience.

No Battery Is Detected Vista Hp Laptops on this page. I have an HP Laptop I purchased in 2010 and recently upgraded to Windows 10. Everything is, for the most part, working smoothly. The only glitch is the f9 key, which controls the volume muting feature. When muting is activated, the button turns amber.

When muting is inactive, it stays white. After upgrading, it always stays amber, but the function itself still works fine. The only other issue is in Device Manager, there is an unknown driver called ACPI HPQ0004 3&11583659&0. I checked HP's website and there are no updated drivers. I also tried the Windows Update driver feature to no avail.

Is anyone working on this problem? Or is this just something I have to live with until I get a new laptop? Just curious. ACPI is the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface created by Intel, Microsoft and Toshiba which is a power management program to turn off power to components not being used. It is SUPPOSED to be in Windows 10, but I don't know if the latest issue of Windows 10 actually has it. Since you already checked with Microsoft, check with the manufacturer of the chipsets on your computer. For example, if you are running an Intel processor, go to Intel.com.

Intel (for example) has the Intel Driver Update Utility that can scan your computer and install generic drivers for the Intel products it finds. Note, this does not mean you have the best driver for your computer. Sometimes manufacturers create modified drivers for their equipment. It might be wise to visit the manufacturer site after Intel (in my example - your chipset might not be Intel) installs the generic driver to see if the manufacturer has a driver more specific to your computer. It is SUPPOSED to be in Windows 10, but I don't know if the latest issue of Windows 10 actually has it. It's not just a software program, and BTW Windows has supported ACPI since Win98.

Non-ACPI HALs aren't even available since Vista (which means since Vista the OS requires an ACPI-compliant BIOS). Just look under System Devices in Device Manager if you're in doubt about Win10's support for ACPI.
