Many of his students went on to play in symphonies as well so maybe theses studies might be a good idea to try. Here is a link to the studies The way you do the studies is up to your own interpretation but here is how I prefer to play them.
Invalid Serial Number Hp Probook here. On the first set of the studies I start on a slow tempo and I try to play them at a relaxed piano. As I move through the sets I speed up the tempo gradually and get slightly louder. I find it very beneficial to play with a drone in the background in order to hear the pitches easier.

I am very pleased to announce the release of our fourth book, Vincent Cichowicz’ Long Tone and Flow Studies for Trombone, Euphonium and Tuba. With the assistance of Chicago Symphony Principal Trombone, Jay Friedman, New York Philharmonic Principal Trombone Joseph Alessi, Chicago Symphony Second Trombone Michael Mulcahy, International Euphonium soloist, Steven Mead and Los Angeles Free Lance Studio Trombonist, Nick Lane and our master editor and mentor Rob Roy McGregor, we feel we have stayed true to the spirit of what my father used with all of his students that helped them play in a much more relaxed and efficient manner.
The new book is 90 pages long, so we added coil binding to make it easier to place on a music stand. It contains bass clef versions of Vincent Cichowicz’s VC 1 Long Tone Studies along with the first 40 of his Flow Studies adapted and arranged for trombone, euphonium and tuba by Los Angeles studio trombonist and arranger, Nick Lane.
