However, the driver for the USB adapter so that the computer may recognize the calculator is the one that I cannot install. Therefore, I believe the issue is not one of compatibility, but that, for some reason, after installing 8.1 the system rejects the installation of the driver. I sense that the answer I'll be getting is the dreaded 'refresh your PC', which is a nightmare since you have to re-install every piece of software, including MS Office, MS Project and MS Visio; unless of course, you use your computer as an iPad, meaning only for apps and browsing the internet.
