The Appropriate Print Head Is Not Installed Canon

Re-seat the print head into the print head holder and lower the print head lock lever until a click is heard. Insert the appropriate ink tank into the slot at the right end and push down on the PUSH mark on top of the ink tank until a click is heard. Install the other ink tanks in the same manner. One other thing i found is that if the carriage holding the cartridges gets warped or cracked it can cause the error because they don't line up correctly. I had someone bring me a printer that they tried using similar but not the right cartridges and ended up cracking the plastic holder trying to force them in. You might check with th canon website and see if there a fix.
